The Brief

Mr & Mrs Hewitt commissioned a complete remodel of their family home in Hughenden Valley – the remodel being subsequently recognised by winning an award. Initially we were asked to design, supply and install a large family kitchen, with the brief extending to include a utility room/boot room and dedicated library. All rooms were to focus on the beauty of natural wood finishes and traditional styling but with contemporary aspects.

The home would be the centre for multi-generational gatherings and celebrations. Mrs Hewitt meticulously researched and selected a variety of high quality cooking appliances to make her kitchen a cook’s dream space, with the Rangemaster range cooker the main feature, together with a stunning oak mantle.

The large kitchen island was designed for maximum worktop area, and includes storage drawers and cupboards, sink and boiling hot water tap, dishwashers, bar stool seating and a wine fridge.
