The Brief

Mr & Mrs Adams asked us to redesign their kitchen and utility room into a contemporary space for the family and regular large gatherings.  Our design featured bi-fold doors to access the garden areas and a dramatic dual island in handle-less units.  We included two dishwashers to help keep the open-plan, sleek kitchen uncluttered during parties.  The run of tall units, in a contrasting finish, house the integrated larder fridge and freezer, various ovens, a coffee machine, warming drawers and a pantry unit, accessed via bi-fold doors so as to hide away but also keep readily accessible all small appliances.

The Corian worktop is seamless, with wireless charger points and LED lights under the sharknose profile edges.  The Neff appliances were chosen for their contemporary design, functionality and value price point, an important consideration given the number of appliances to be included within the specification.  Such a large open-plan kitchen and dining area required effective extraction for clean air and no lingering cooking smells.
